Hey there, I’m James Doggette, Jr.
A native of San Bernardino, California, I was born in a Christian home to my amazing parents, Dr. James and La-Shunn Doggette. I began my ministry at the tender age of 18, as the Youth Pastor of Madison Mission SDA Church. I have since spread the gospel around the world.
I've pastored several churches around the country, and in 2015 founded Exhale Ministries, a place where worship is service.
I was privileged to be pastoral liaison for the office of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee from 2015 to 2017. I recently accepted the call to be the Associate Pastor of Solomon's Porch Advent Church in Orlando, Florida.
I have been the recipient of numerous honors and awards. In 2009, I was awarded the Mosley-Warren Homiletics Award for excellence in preaching. As an Oakwood Ambassador, I was also the MVP of the USCAA national championship team in 2008.
I am a proud alumnus of Oakwood University where I obtained a B.A. in Ministerial Theology and a Minor in Communications.
My passion is to continue the work of the gospel through preaching, motivational speaking, counseling, and writing.
I am married to my college sweetheart and love of my life, the former Demia Tunis. We are the proud parents of our beautiful baby girl, Noa Lillie.
